​Tom Lohman is known in the industry as a creative thinker and problem solver, even referred to as a “game changer” by a renowned opera diva.  This is due in part to his refusal to accept a “no win scenario” and his deep belief that every challenge has a solution.
As the Founder and Principal Designer of Argus Productions, Tom has over 30 years of experience in Live Events.  Fostered by many volunteer hours in local community theatre, Tom developed a passion for live production which led him to a professional career in the entertainment industry.
He has held several diverse positions including:  Lighting Director, Technical Director, Stage Manager, Crew Chief, Production Manager and Project Manager.  
​Tom considers his 16 years as Lighting Director for the Grammy Award Winning Vocal duo Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme as one of the highlights of his career.  This afforded him the opportunity to navigate a wide variety of venues, crews and production companies on a national scale.  
Tom has served as Lighting Crew Chief for several national tours including, Tom Jones, Huey Lewis and The News, ELO-II and MC Hammer. He has provided Lighting Design and Direction for a diverse collection of corporate clients and celebrities including, Ford, GM, Pepsi, Amway, GFS, Meijer, Herman Miller, Steelcase, Wolverine World Wide, the Dalai Lama, Trevor Noah, Aretha Franklin, and Tony Bennett.  He also has had the pleasure of working on a list of Galas, Fund Raisers, Music Festivals and Special Events too long to mention.
